Kylan was invited to a party a year ago at a bike reserve near our house which we didn’t even know existed. We thought it was such a fantastic venue to hold a bunch of highly energetic boys that we couldn’t resist holding Kylan’s party at the same place.

It has a gorgeous modern room to use with a beautiful view of the bike tracks and playgrounds. Added bonus is that it is free to hire! It is just a refundable bond that you have to pay to get the key to the room.
So since we were having a party at the bike park, and Kylan had gotten a new bike for Christmas a bike themed party it was!
SO HERE IT IS!

Balloon garlands are such a cheap, simple and easy thing to create and add to a birthday party to take it to the next level. It adds a level of wow and helps tie the theme and set up all together. I have a tutorial here on how to create your own DIY balloon garland.

Being at a location like this I needed to have loads of water on hand for the kids. I don’t generally like using plastic bottles such as these but I needed something I could bring along easily to the venue for the kids to keep them hydrated whilst riding. The labels are really easy to make as well. I have step by step photos on how I created these here.

I found some bike keyring on Aliexpress which I got as little party favours.

Another year, another party. Happy birthday Kylan, I hope your day was everything you wished for and I can’t wait to keep watching you grow, learn and become the best version of you!
Love Mum xx
