BOOBS!

We all have them, they come in all shapes and sizes; big ones, small ones, perky ones, saggy ones. I have a love-hate relationship with my bosoms. They have changed so much throughout my life journey so far. They started a decent size and nice and perky, have grown through pregnancies, fluctuating to giant watermelons whilst feeding 2 big strong healthy boys and have shrivelled up to deflated balloons in between. They are currently enormous again whilst they nourish and feed baby number 3 and are doing a great job at feeding Mc Squishy!

I feel very insecure when they are this big. I just personally don’t feel comfortable with such big boobs. I know some people with flat chests would LOVE to have giant boobs but for me, they just make me feel self-conscious and uncomfortable and I find it so hard to find clothes that are flattering which fit them well without them overflowing inappropriately.

When Millen was 1-week old I went to a bra shop to get a feeding bra. I went in, tried on some bras and walked out in tears with nothing. I couldn’t find anything that fitted me properly that was both comfortable and SUPPORTIVE. When you have GIANT bazookas you want them held up not dangling next to your belly button! It was also a mission running to and from the changing room to get different styles and sizes with a tiny newborn in tow.

Talk about timing…a few days later I received an email from Farmers asking me to help promote their PerFITly You Lingerie Week and the FREE fitting service they have available. I didn’t even have to leave the fitting room!

Not only did we find the perfect nursing bra for my shape and size which supported the beasts whilst not squashing them into a sausage boob but she also helped me find a sports bra as I am getting back into exercise and the new assets needed some serious support for any major physical activity.
