When I first found out I was pregnant I went a little crazy over on Pinterest on my “secret” baby board pinning up an absolute storm with ideas for a nursery. When I had Kylan we were renting and I wasn’t able to go all out and create a perfect nursery for him and fulfil all those nesting urges. Now that we own our own home I had a million ideas flowing through my head on what I could create and I was ready to make up for lost time.
I fell in love with the idea to create a monochrome room but as it was a nursery I wanted to soften it so it wasn’t completely black and white! I wanted it to have a calm and relaxing mood to it.
I was feeling gold and peach tones for a little girls room.
For a boys room I was in love with the idea of using mint.
Then it was a waiting game to see which colour palette we would be going with!
