THE FIRST STEP

The very first thing we did to our house was a MASSIVE clean up!!

The previous owners had left behind piles of their crap! There were hundreds of potted plants that were on deaths door or empty pots scattered around the place. The garden looked like it hadn’t been touched, EVER and there were bits of furniture and satellites and metal scraps in every nook and cranny!

We spent the entire Easter weekend in the baking sun giving the entire house a once over. Along with cleaning out all the rubbish outside we went through and washed the walls and windows on the inside too.

The leaves were our biggest challenge, years worth of leaves from our huge gum tree were layered across the garden. Lucky I had a handsome gardener to help me.

Finally all the leaves are in piles ready to go in the skip
