KYLAN RILEY TURNS 3

For Kylan’s actual third birthday I decided to make him a little cake to celebrate with on the day instead of waiting for his birthday party.

I had seen a couple cakes going around Pinterest that I really wanted to give a go so I decided to give them a whirl and join them together with my own little twist! Here is the Pin that inspired my creation.

I would like to say that I just thought it would look better with the chocolate fingers instead of Kit Kat bars like I had seen online however the truth is that Kit Kats weren’t on sale and it was going to work out WAAAAYYYYY cheaper to use something else….hence the finger biscuits.

I threw a dinosaur on top as I had already prepped these all for Kylan’s party. See his 3rd birthday bash here.

Make a wish!

So I said at the start that there were a few ideas that I had seen on Pinterest that I wanted to try. The first was the style of cake that I made. Secondly was the type of cake. I had seen a lot of pictures of marble styled cakes and they looked sooooo cool.

Since Kylan’s favourite colour was (and still is) green I attempted to do the zebra stripes. It kinda worked but I thing I blobbed a bit too much green on last and it ruined it a bit! But it was fun to do!!
